Initially, the business of the Credit Union was transacted from a desk within an office located at the Works Department at the Carrington Street Office in Scarborough. When the Works Department/Works Division was relocated to Old Government Farm Road, Scarborough, an office space was provided for the Credit Union. In those days, an employee in the Department voluntarily attended to members before and after work hours, and during their lunch breaks. Today, the Credit Union’s membership has grown to over One Thousand members, a full-time Manager and seven (7) other employees. Main services and products offered by the Credit Union are Shares, Deposits and Loans.
